Fade In Studio and Dogzilla Studio debut an animated hip hop-themed learning series on Sesame Workshop’s “Sesame Studios” YouTube channel. Hip Hop Howls features the musical talents of Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, Saturday Night Live alums and members of The Lonely Island with Andy Samberg.
Schaffer and Taccone voice Flap and Fly, two charismatic owls who teach preschoolers how to do new things with hip hop beats. Composed by Nashville-based hip hop artist Tre Houston, Hip Hop Howls’ original songs are reminiscent of the 80s and 90s hip hop scene.
Hip Hop Howls was produced by Peter Johnston, Kyle Logan and Tim Rowberry of Brisbane based production company Fade In Studio. Fade In was established in 2005 and is a champion of original stories and international collaboration.
