Doodles is an International Emmy Award Winning multiplatform, interstitial series featuring a cast of coloured-in characters surrounded by absurd comedy, chaos, off-the-wall action, mythical creatures and adorable animals.
Peter had the pleasure of working for Ludo Studio as Series Producer on Doodles series 1 and 2 for broadcast on ABC3 and online platforms. The collaborative environment allowed for creatives to come together and develop episode ideas and new ways to engage audiences.
In 2015, Doodles won the Innovation Award at the Online Video Awards and received a nomination for Best Kids Content. Pete’s role extended to the filming and editing of live action plates, ‘Making Of’ segments, and creating original content for online platforms. Some highlights include; developing a new way to turn play/pause videos into interactive online games for kids, creating a comic strip from ridiculous photos of plush toys, but most of all it was the reaction videos parents would send in of kids seeing their drawings come to life on TV.
